Bills Not Referred to a Committee
*These lists are provided to comply with Joint Rule 314 sub-
7 (provided below) to allow committees time to provide their priorities to the Joint Standing Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs. The bills are included based on their current status, which in many cases represent preliminary or incomplete analyses due to the timing of the release of many bills. Bills still in committee and pending floor debate are also subject to further amendment that may change the bill's fiscal impact and may either remove a bill from or cause new bills to be added to these lists. Committees are encouraged to contact the Office of Fiscal and Program Review to check the current status of the fiscal impact of a particular bill and the appropriateness of its inclusion on this list.
Joint Rule 314, sub-
7 reads as follows:
7. List of Priorities.
Within 5 business days after receiving a list from the Office of Fiscal and Program Review of all bills reported out of a committee that involve appropriations or revenues, the policy committtee shall submit to the Joint Standing Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs a list indicating that committee's priorities for final passage of these bills. The list must be accompanied by a form signed by all committee members indicating how they voted on that priority recommendations.
