With a collection of more than 200 historic aircraft, the EAA Aviation Museum is a year-round destination, combining aviation's past with the promise of its exciting future.

Collections

The heart and soul of any good museum is its collection, and the EAA Aviation Museum is no exception.

Our collection of historic artifacts began in 1962 when Steve Wittman donated his famous air racer “Bonzo” and the EAA Aviation Museum was founded.

Since then it has flowered into a magnificent assortment of over 20,000 historic aviation objects.
