Canyon Hills Park Golf Course
It is a traditional style, municipal course with 9 holes, par 36, and relaxed dress code (denim is allowed). Amenities include rental carts, rental clubs, pull carts, driving range, putting green, full service pro shop, and a snack bar. The course is open dawn to dusk all week from March 1 through December 31 depending on heavy snow. Running Events:
Pony Express Trail 50 and 100 mile Endurance Run
The course for both races will start at Lookout Campground west of Faust, UT. The 100-mile race will go out 58.2 miles to Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge and then head back, finishing at Simpson Springs (16 miles west of the start). The 50-mile course heads the same direction but finishes at Blackrock Pony Express station site.
5K runs
Ute Stampede “Fun Run” takes place during the UTE STAMPEDE RODEO.

Ibapah Peak
12,087 feet  located in the Deep Creek Mountain Range. Trail Mileage = 12± miles round trip

Paul Bunyan’s Woodpile
located just east of Hwy 6, near Jericho Junction (the access road to Little Sahara Recreation Area).
How to get there:
From Salt Lake City, travel south on I-15 to Santaquin (exit 248). Turn right (west) at the end of the off ramp onto U.S. Route 6. Travel west and then south on U.S. Route 6 for 35.7 miles to a sign indicating Paul Bunyans Woodpile turnoff. Turn left (east) and proceed up the road for 3.2 miles to the trail head to the Woodpile. This stretch of road can be quite rough so proceed with caution. Do not attempt when the road is wet. Once at the trail head, proceed through the gate and hike approximately 0.5 miles to the Woodpile. Make sure you close the gate after you. The trail is well marked and a relatively easy hike.
Maple Peak
Located to the west of the I-15 interstate, Maple Peak (elevation 8060 ft) is west of Eureka Utah.
Driving Directions:
From I-15, south of Provo, take the Santaquin exit and head west toward Eureka. From Eureka, continue to go west and a bit south on US 6 but take road 36 to Tintic Junction. From Tintic Junction, take the Cherry Creek road, a good graded dirt road that heads west and It is approximately 11 miles from the Tintic junction to the Cherry Creek road. the Cherry Creek road. I then headed up a jeep road located on the north side. For folks with low clearance, park here since you could hike up from that turnoff from the Cherry Creek road if a high clearance 4WD vehicle isn't available and follow the road up towards the peak. It adds some mileage and some elevation gain but it is reasonable.
Fifth Water Hot Springs
Fifth water is located up Diamond Fork canyon. The trail head begins at the Three Forks parking area. The hike to the springs is approximately 2.5 miles and the climb has a moderate elevation gain.
Driving Directions:
Take I-15 south to the US-6 (Price/Manti) Exit (exit 258) Take the exit east towards the mountains all the way up Spanish Fork canyon for about 11 miles (from the exit) Not too far after the highway turns from one lane each way to two lanes you will see a turn off on the left side of the road that says Diamond Fork. Take that turn off and follow the road until you see a sign that says Three Forks Trail head.
Mt. Nebo
Mt. Nebo is the highest peak on the Wasatch Front? At 11,928 feet, it rises above Timpanogos (11,750) and all other peaks in this area. The hike to the top of Nebo is a rugged day hike and can also be an enjoyable backpacking adventure. Most hikers attack the summit via a 14-mile (round trip) trail that begins on the Nebo Bench Trailhead in Salt Creek Canyon.
Biking Trails in Juab County
Mt. Nebo Challenge
The Mt. Nebo Challenge is a 69.0-mile loop featuring a long, strenuous climb and steep, challenging descent of Mt. Nebo, and long false flats through Juab Valley. The elevation ranges from 4,722 feet in Spring Lake, south of Payson, to 8,917 feet along the Mt. Nebo Loop Scenic Byway. Mt. Nebo, visible from nearly all of central Utah, marks the southern end and highest peak of the Wasatch Range, towering at 11,928 feet. There are several adjacent peaks that are nearly as high. The featured road, Mt. Nebo Loop Scenic Byway, is closed during the winter; always be aware of weather and road conditions before venturing up the mountain.
