On May 25th, 1,200 Dialogue and Identity participants joined together from over 38 Jewish and Arab schools at Kibbutz Yagur for a morning of friendship and music. D&I, a partnership between the TALI Education Fund and the Rossing Center for Education and Dialogue, co-funded by the European Union, pairs Jewish and Arab Christian schools exposing schoolchildren to the rich cultures and religions that share the Land of Israel. The culmination of the morning was singing “At Eye Level” an original song written in Hebrew, Arabic, and English, expressing that there is much room for dialogue and friendship among the students from different backgrounds.

TALI Halleli Delegation of Principals in NYC

A delegation of twenty-one school principals participating in TALI Education Fund's Halleli program returned from a visit to New York to explore American Jewish life the week before Passover. The visit to Jewish communities and educational institutions in the United States was the culmination of a course that began about two years ago as part of the Halleli program, a Hebrew acronym for Invitation to Study Israeli Judaism.

Over the past two months, the TALI HaDror school Mevaseret Zion has been preparing for Earth Day this week by starting a project that engaged the entire community. Collecting over 7000 bottles and cans for recycling, the students learned about what a communal project looks like as well as how to identify items that can be recycled.
Dialogue and Identity: A Student’s Perspective

Dialogue and Identity has been active in my school for four years. Through the project, my class meets with kids our age from the Orthodox School in Yafo. I participated in the meeting, and it was simply wonderful. My classmates and I enjoyed our time, and I am sure that our friends from Yafo did too. We were about 50 students altogether! We were really excited to welcome them and to host them in our school. At the beginning of the meetup, we ate breakfast and got to know each other a little bit. After that we came up with a schedule together and headed to the gymnasium for some activities.
