Did you know the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) was passed 50 years ago?
Since that landmark legislation, PACER has stood beside Minnesota families of children with disabilities—providing trusted information, training, and support when they need it most.
Today, more than
161,000 children in Minnesota
receive special education services. Yet with government funding challenges and proposed changes to laws affecting disability services, it is becoming harder for families to get what their children need - PACER services are needed now more than ever.
We’re on a mission to support as many of these families as possible. PACER is the only organization in Minnesota serving families and caregivers of children and young adults with any disability from birth through age 26. We provide programs, resources, and services at no cost to them.
