Pacers to the Polls
Marywood University’s nonpartisan campaign, Pacers to the Polls, is focused on increasing voter registration, preparedness, and turnout among our students. Many different events and initiatives taking place throughout the year are included in this campaign and they are led and managed by a task force made up of students, staff, and faculty members.
ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge
The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge strives to change civic culture and institutionalize democratic engagement activities and programs on college campuses, making them a defining feature of campus life.  As a participant in the Challenge, Marywood University:
Will be recognized for making a commitment to increasing student voting rates and helping students form the habits of active and informed citizenship;
Receive support in developing action plans that increase students’ democratic engagement;
Have the opportunity to receive designation seals for achieving established benchmarks in student voting rates, and win awards for demonstrating the highest rates of and greatest increases in college student voting rates.

National Voter Registration Day
National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan civic holiday celebrating our democracy.
Celebrated on the fourth Tuesday of September, National Voter Registration Day will next take place on September 20, 2022. The holiday has been endorsed by the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS), the National Association of State Election Directors (NASED), the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC), and the National Association of Election Officials (The Election Center).
National Voter Education Week
Complementing the incredible success of National Voter Registration Day and the exciting launch of Vote Early Day, National Voter Education Week is a nonpartisan digital voter education campaign that equips voters with the tools, information, and confidence they need to cast their ballots.
Held during the first week of October, National Voter Education Week (NVEW) is a week-long digital campaign, with events live-streamed on various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. During this week of interactive education, voters will learn to find their polling location, understand their ballot, make a plan to vote in person or by mail, and more.
National Vote Early Day
Vote Early Day is a movement of nonprofits, businesses, election administrators, and creatives working to ensure all Americans know their options to vote early.
When Americans vote early, they ensure that last minute problems will not prevent them from casting their ballots – and help shorten voting lines on Election Day for everyone. But voting early rules – both for in-person and by-mail options – vary widely all over the country, causing confusion and preventing voters from casting their ballots. We’re here to make voting early easier.
NSLVE Results
Marywood University proudly participates in the National Study of Learning, Voting & Engagement (NSLVE), which offers colleges and universities an opportunity to learn their student registration and voting rates. Check out the results of our
2020 NSLVE Report
