Reporting Requirements
CME Activity Data
All accredited CME providers are expected to enter activity data in PARS to fulfill ACCME’s data reporting requirements. Each year, we aggregate this information in an annual data report as a service to our accredited education community and to identify long-range trends that shape the evolution of our system.

Learner Credit Reporting
PARS allows accredited providers to not only enter CME activity data but also record
learner
credit data within the same system. While reporting learner credit data in PARS
is optional, it
represents
an important opportunity to support a more modern, digitized
approach to
managing and reporting CME credit.
By entering both activity and learner credit data in PARS, providers can:
Increase the visibility of CME activities and reach a broader audience of learners
Reinforce the value of activities for learners and other stakeholders
Reduce physicians’ reporting burden, giving them more time to focus on patient care
Decrease administrative workload related to physician inquiries and certificate
requests
Support regulatory and certifying authorities by enabling easier access to verified
CME and
Maintenance of Certification (MOC)/Continuous Certification (CC) credit
data
Learner credit data entered in PARS is reported to
participating
state medical licensing
boards
and
certifying boards
in collaboration with the ACCME,
eliminating
the need for
physicians to
manually track and
submit
their credits.
