If you are registered but changed address and/or name, you MUST update your voter registration.
If you are not sure if you are still registered to vote, check your status with the link below.

What bills will affect US!
The past few years have been tough being a part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community with so many anti-LGBTQIA2S+ policies and bills coming from our state government.
It is important that you are informed about those bills that are affecting us as they go through the legislative process. You have the right to speak to your legislators about bills that affect you and the people you love.
Two good sources are ACLU Bill Tracker, click on the link below or this link to
Freedom Oklahoma Legislative tracker.
We will do our best to keep the links below up to date for you to read these bills and understand how they affect you, your family, friends, and allies.
Once you click on the link, then click on the Versions tab and last click on Introduced.
Now what?
ACLU Bill Tracker for Anti-LGBTQIA2S+ bills in Oklahoma
What do I need to do to get them to listen?
Now that you are familiar with the bills in the Oklahoma State legislature, the next step is to find your dIstrict and your legislators.
Find your Oklahoma District & Legislator
I want my voice to be heard!
These steps are very easy and DO have an impact. It will depend on every one of us to be loud and proud when taking these steps.
If you prefer to talk on the phone, you can call your legislator’s office number any time, day or night. You might get a person on the phone or a voicemail and be brief and polite. Give your name and say if you are a constituent or what city you live in if you are someone else’s constituent. Say what bill number you are calling about and whether you are against or in favor of the bill.
If you prefer to write letters, use the official email address you found in the previous link.
Write a short email with the number of the bill you are writing about and whether you are for or against (you can also include this information in the subject field). If you want to expand on your reasons for your position, do so after you state your request for the legislator’s vote. Be polite, even if you disagree. Sign the email with your name and address, (and phone number if you wish).
That is it. It’s that easy!
It doesn't stop there.
It doesn’t stop there. If the bill is still in committee, you can call or send email to every representative on the relevant committee. (See ACLU Bill Tracker link in this section) Use the same format and make that voice of yours louder and louder.
Trust me, they must listen.
Is there anything else I can do?
YES! There are so many ways you can Rise Up and be informed.
1. Register to Vote and Vote.
2. Register with
PFLAG Norman
PFLAG National
ACLU Oklahoma
Human Rights Campaign Oklahom
a and many more, to get more information on what is happening in our state and country.
3. Follow PFLAG on social media.
4. Be part of a march for equal rights.
5. Donate your time or money or both to organizations that share your values and goals.
We depend on your support to help you, your family members, your chosen family, loved ones, allies and community become places of Love, Peace and Joy through Advocacy, Education and Support.
Don't let Fear Take away your Power
We all know that this political climate is not the best for our community to feel safe voting at a polling place on election day. Oklahoma has the option of Absentee Ballot. Where you can get your ballot mailed to your home before election day. Know that there are deadlines for this form of voting. Fill it out and follow the steps given in the envelope. Note that this form of voting requires your ballot to be sign and sealed by a Notary. You can find these people at your local bank and public libraries. Remember that you will have to renew this option every year, but it is a good way to get all the special elections and bills that are happening during the year.
