Philharmonic Orchestra
Directed by Nathan Haines, BYU’s Philharmonic Orchestra brings classical works from all time periods to life. Their richly varied repertoire demonstrates a mastery of symphonic music. Composed of 95 gifted musicians, the orchestra performs locally and on campus, collaborating with BYU’s acclaimed opera, choral, and ballet groups. The Philharmonic Orchestra also recorded music for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games.
