Rai School of Engineering is a constituent School of Rai University established in 2013 consists of MCA, B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc IT and Diploma Programs. RSE emphasizes on Skill Development, Project Based Learning and ICT enabled pedagogies to provide Outcome Based Education to the budding Student fraternity. Prof.(Dr.) Jaykumar A. Dave
Professor and Dean
Prof.(Dr.) Dave Jaykumar Ashwinkumar is a Professor and Dean of RSE with 15 years of academic experience. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering in 2019 and M.Tech in Computer Engineering with distinction in 2012. He has published 29 research works including 15 journal papers, one authored book, one edited book, one book chapter, four conference papers, and eight conference presentations. He is currently guiding four Ph.D. scholars and has secured research grants worth ₹2,20,000. Dr. Dave is a Life Member of ISTE and a member of several professional bodies including the Institute of Research Engineers and Doctors, the International Association of Engineers, IEEE SIGHT, and formerly ACM. He received the Silver Level Faculty Award from Infosys under the Campus Connect Inspire Program in 2017 and 2018. He is an AWS Certified Practitioner and serves as editor, reviewer, technical program committee member, and session chair for several reputed journals and international conferences.
Dr. Nikunj K Raval
Associate Professor & I/C Principal(MCA)
Dr. Nikunj Kirtibhai Raval is an Associate Professor & I/C Principal (MCA)in the RSE with 16 years of teaching experience. He completed his BCA in 2004 and MCA in 2008 from HNGU Patan and earned his Ph.D. in 2016 from PAHER University, Udaipur. He has published eight research papers in journals and presented two papers in conferences. He currently guides one Ph.D. scholar. He has completed the NPTEL certification course in Research Methodology and has attended more than ten faculty development programs and workshops, including a workshop at Nirma University. He has also served as Academic Coordinator during the academic year 2023–24 and has organized academic seminars at Shri Sarvajanik MSc (CA & IT) College, Mehsana.
Dr. Poonam Chakravarty
Assistant Professor and Principal(Diploma)
Dr. Poonam Dineshkumar Chakravarty is an Assistant Professor and Principal Diploma under the RSE department with 13 years of academic experience. She completed her M.E. in Information Technology with distinction from GTU in 2013 and completed her Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Indus University. She has published 17 research works including 12 journal papers, 2 book chapters, 3 conference papers, and 4 conference presentations. She has received several recognitions including 3 Outstanding Research Awards, 3 Academic Achiever Awards, 1 Research Excellence Award, and the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 3rd IEEE International Conference on Computer Science, Engineering and Intelligent Control Technology (CEI-2023). She has served as a keynote speaker at major academic events and has filed 6 patents. She also reviews papers for more than 10 reputed international journals and has attended over 50 FDPs, workshops, and STTPs. She is also an active member of IEEE SIGHT, contributing to technology-driven initiatives for societal development.
Mr. Jigar Pandya

Mr. Jigar Dilsukhray Pandya is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Applications at Rai School of Engineering with 14 years of teaching experience. He holds BCA and MCA degrees and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. He has published 12 research works including eight journal papers, four book chapters, two conference papers, and four conference presentations. He has two awards to his credit and has published two patents. He has served as a reviewer for more than twelve research papers and has delivered keynote lectures at national and international conferences while actively participating in FDPs, workshops, and STTPs. Mr. Jigar Pandya currently serves as the Chairman of the Cyber Hygiene and Cyber Crime Awareness Committee. He also holds the responsibilities of Convener and Member Secretary of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). In addition, he is an active member of reputed professional and academic bodies, including IEEE SIGHT and STM Journals.
Mr. Kamlesh Patel

Mr. Kamleshkumar L. Patel is the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Rai School of Engineering. He has approximately 9.4 years of academic experience in the field of mechanical engineering. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Mechanical Engineering and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. Mr. Patel has contributed to academic research and scholarly activities. He has published a full research paper in conference proceedings and has also presented his research work at academic conferences. In addition to his research contributions, he has achieved recognition in the field of innovation with four Indian patents published. He continues to contribute to teaching, research, and departmental development while guiding students in mechanical engineering and supporting academic initiatives at Rai School of Engineering
Mr. Arpit Chopra
Assistant Professor & HOD CSE/IT
Mr. Arpit Chopra is an Assistant Professor & HOD in RSE (CSE/IT) with 15 years of teaching experience. He completed his B.E. in Computer Science Engineering in 2009 from the University of Rajasthan and M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering in 2012 from Jagannath University, Jaipur. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in CSE from P.K. University, Shivpuri. He has published 18 research works including nine journal papers, two authored books, one book chapter, three conference papers, and four conference presentations. He holds six professional memberships and has participated in numerous academic activities including ten faculty development programs and 29 academic participation certifications.
Ms. Hemangee Sonara

Hemangee Sonara is an Assistant Professor HOD in the Diploma CE/IT department with more than three years of teaching experience. She completed her B.E. in 2019 from SAL College of Engineering and M.E. in 2022 from L.J. Institute of Engineering. She has published one journal paper and presented one conference paper while actively contributing to teaching and academic development activities.
Dr. Pavan Sanjivkumar Shah

Dr. Pavan Sanjivkumar Shah is an Assistant Professor in RSE with more than four years of teaching experience. He completed his M.Tech from Nirma University in 2022 and is pursuing his Ph.D. from the same institution. He has published eight research works including four journal papers, one authored book, one edited book, one book chapter, three conference papers, and five conference presentations. He is a member of the International Association of Engineers, a life member of ISTE, and a member of IEEE SIGHT. He is an M.Tech Gold Medalist and has cleared UGC-NET in 2022. He is also an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Accredited Educator and has delivered more than six expert sessions, technical talks, and webinars.

Dr. Irfan Ahmad Khan is an Assistant Professor in the RSE with 17 years of teaching experience. He completed his M.Sc. in Information Technology with first division in 2004 from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Allahabad, and earned his Ph.D. in 2023 from RKDF University, Ranchi. He has published 15 research works including seven journal papers, one authored book, two book chapters, two conference papers, and three conference presentations. He has received three awards and has extensive academic and administrative experience at international universities.

Hardik D. Patel is an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering department with 11 years of academic experience. He completed his B.E. in 2014 from RGPV Bhopal and M.E. from GTU. He has contributed two research papers in journals and continues to contribute to teaching and academic activities in mechanical engineering.

Saket Swarndeep Jayant Kumar is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology with nine years of academic experience. He holds an M.Tech in Computer Engineering and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. from L.J. University, Ahmedabad. He has published 40 research papers in journals and presented two conference papers. He holds certifications including NCC “C” Certificate from Air Squadron No.1 Baroda and ASP.NET training certification from HCL.
Mr. Karan Vala

Mr. Karansinh N. Vala is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Rai School of Engineering with a total of five years and nine months of professional experience, including four years in academics and one year nine months in industry as a QA professional. He completed his BCA in 2010 from Bhavnagar University and MCA in 2016 from Gujarat Technological University. He has published one journal paper and two book chapters. He received the Research Achiever Award for Patent and the Achiever Award for FDP/Webinar participation from Rai University.

Aditya Yadav is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Applications with 3.7 years of teaching experience. He completed his BCA in 2020 and MCA in 2022 with first division and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. He has published two journal papers and authored one book. He holds two professional memberships and has participated in several academic activities including seven webinars, seminars, and three faculty development programs. He was also awarded an Honors Degree during his master’s program.

Sachin Thakur is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Applications with over two years of teaching experience. He completed his MCA in 2023 from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur and BCA from DDU Gorakhpur University. He has one journal publication and is actively engaged in mentoring B.Sc.-IT students, program coordination, placement coordination, and laboratory management. He also contributes to NAAC documentation and academic administration including BOS files, faculty board meetings, ICT tools records, and timetable coordination. He teaches subjects such as C++, Operating Systems, Data Structures, Machine Learning, Computer Graphics, and Android Technologies.

Amarjeet Kannaujiya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Applications with nearly three years of teaching experience. He completed his MCA in 2023 from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur and B.Sc. in Computer Science in 2019 from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. He has one journal publication and actively serves as mentor for BCA students, event coordinator, and contributor to the RSE Connect newsletter. He also participates in NAAC-related documentation, student internship coordination, alumni association activities, and internal administrative processes. His teaching areas include C, C++, DCN, CN, CNS, COA, ML, CC, .NET, and Microprocessors.

Assistant Professor
Mahesh B. Nagpurkar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Rai School of Engineering with three years of teaching experience. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics (2022–2026) from CHARUSAT, Gujarat. He completed his M.Sc. in Mathematics with distinction (2020–2022) and B.Sc. in Mathematics with first class (2017–2020) from Gujarat University. He has published three research works including two journal papers and one book chapter and has presented seven conference papers. He is a Life Member of the Society for Special Functions and Their Applications (SSFA). His recognitions include the SHODH Fellowship by the Government of Gujarat, the M. I. Qureshi Prize for Best Paper Presentation, and first rank in the GANITAM 2026 international conference. He actively contributes as reviewer for reputed international journals and works on numerical methods for fractal-fractional differential equations and interdisciplinary mathematical modelling.
