Legally, our name remains Operation Fuel (DBA Generation Power CT), which protects all of our current sources of funding, including the Add-A-Dollar program that appears on utility bills. As the new name better describes the essential work we do, we expect the rebrand will help us expand our donor base and program impacts.
As our organization grows, our advocacy efforts are more important than ever. We will continue working with lawmakers, agency leaders, regulators, and other partners to advance policies such as increasing funding for energy assistance; ensuring utility service for medically vulnerable residents; developing affordable payment plans for limited-income ratepayers; and expanding access to clean energy technologies.
