2026 TGA MEDICAL WAIVER
The 2026 TGA Medical Waiver for Division 1 and 2 competitors will be available here on February 18th, 2026. The medical waiver has been updated from the 2024 Games and now only requires the Physician's Signature to be faxed or mailed in. All other information is collected during registration. All division 1 and 2 competitors must meet the following deadlines for their medical waiver to be eligible to be reviewed by the TGA Medical Committee.
1. Date of transplant/donation must be on/prior to
September 18, 2025
2. First day medical waivers can be submitted is
February 18, 2026
3. Physician's signature must be dated on/after
February 18, 2026

When is the last day I can submit my medical waiver?
June 4. After this date, registrations without submitted and approved medical waivers will be cancelled and no refunds will be issued.
What if I had multiple transplant procedures?
The 9 month deadline will apply to your most recent date of transplant.
When is the earliest I can submit my medical waiver?
February 18. Physician's signature must be dated on/after February 18, 2026.
Can my nurse practitioner or PA sign it?
Yes!
Will TGA accept previous years versions of a medical waiver (e.g. 2024, 2022, 2020, etc.)?
No. Any Medical Waivers from a previous Transplant Games of America event will immediately be rejected.
Can I submit the waiver via email?
No. Only submissions via
fax
or
mail
will be accepted.
What happens if my waiver is rejected? Y
ou will be contacted by TGA with appropriate next steps.
What happens if my waiver did not approve competitions I am already registered for? Y
ou will only be allowed to compete in the competitions approved on your medical waiver. Competitions not approved will be removed from your registration.
What if my medical waiver is already submitted and approved, but I want to add/change competitions for my registration? C
hanges will be reviewed by the Medical Committee and if approved, changes will be accepted. Please reach out to TGA to request competition changes. You may only compete in competitions approved on your medical waiver.
REGISTRATION COST
For TGA registration purposes, adults are individuals 14 and older.
Adult Division 1 & 2 Competitor

For TGA registration purposes, youth are individuals 6-13 years old
Youth Division 1 &2 Competitor
Youth Division 3 Competitor
Youth Noncompetitor
For TGA registration purposes, youth individuals 5 years old and younger are free.
Individuals 2 years and older must register for the Games. There will be no fee associated with their registration, unless they sign up for certain special such as the Quarter Century Club.
Competitors have a limit of one individual competition and one team competitions per day as long as they meet the division and age requirements of each competition.

Noncompetitor registration does not close until the last day of the Games, June 23, 2026. Walk-up registrations are welcome.

Medical Waivers can be submitted one of two ways:
Mailed to the Transplant Life Foundation
Faxed to the Transplant Games of America
Information on how to do both will be on the TGA Medical Waiver
Yes, anyone two years old and older needs to register for the Transplant Games.
Kids five years old and younger are free.
