He joined the school in 2018 and worked as a Year 6 teacher, Head of Key Stage 2 and Head of Lower School before taking on his current role in 2021. David has worked across a number of mainstream and SEN settings and has a breadth of experience, from starting his teaching career as a Year 1 teacher to currently teaching GCSE Psychology. His main duties are developing and implementing the curriculum and pathways at St Dominic’s School and managing the day-to-day operational running of the school. David is also a Deputy Designated Safeguarding officer. Operation Encompass has been designed to provide early reporting on any domestic incidents that occur outside of school and might have an impact on a child in school.
