Safety Council
Pittsford School District considers the health, safety and welfare of students and staff of primary importance. To ensure the safest and healthiest environment in our schools, we have established a comprehensive plan and program that meets Federal, State, and County guidelines. The health and safety program is coordinated by the District Health and Safety Council. It is a representative group of school and community experts whose purpose is to identify, target, and monitor health and safety related issues. The goal is to provide for the safest and healthiest environment possible for the staff, students, parents, and visitors in all our school facilities.
If you would like to report an incident or health/safety concern, these reporting forms are available to you:

The District has adopted the Department of Homeland Security's "See Something, Say Something" campaign which engages the public in protecting communities through awareness-building, partnerships, and other outreach.
The Department of Homeland Security's "See Something, Say Something" website provides this insight on how to integrate "See Something, Say Something" into our daily lives:
“There can be moments in our day that cause us to pause and ask, ‘Is this typical of my every day?’ If it’s not, speak up. Don't be afraid to say something if you see something that doesn't seem right. Whether you are on your way to work, walking in your neighborhood, or out and about in your community, remember: We all play a role in keeping our communities safe. Remember to stay vigilant and say something when you see signs of suspicious activity.”
If necessary, please contact local law enforcement by dailing 911 to report suspicious activity and describe specifically what was observed including when it occurred, where it occurred and why it was suspicious.
Report a Health or Safety Concern

At the end of the form, you will have the opportunity to save a copy for your records. If there is an immediate concern, please contact the main office at your school right away.
