Session management functionality exposed to the browser Community Group
This group was closed on 2019-08-13.
The mission of this group is to define a standard way to manage web sessions directly from the web browser. The web sites must expose a set of functionalities in every page served in order to make easy to browser plugins (and the browser itself) to manage the user session.
Group's public email, repo and wiki activity over time
Note: Community Groups are proposed and run by the community. Although W3C hosts these
conversations, the groups do not necessarily represent the views of the W3C Membership or staff.

Your are reading this post because one day some members of “Ethical Hacking&Pentesting Community” of Telefonica Digital started a project named “PopUp LogOut”. A Firefox plugin to unhide logout button and helps user to close their sessions when they’ve finished using Web applications, as it is recommended by
OWASP
. So users can prevent possible theft or misuses of their identity.
You can read more about this project, and even fork it on GitHub, at
