Restrooms and locker/shower room guidelines
Washington University School of Medicine is committed to fostering a respectful workplace environment. As part of this commitment, single-occupancy restrooms are available across campus to support the needs of our community.
These restrooms provide an option for individuals who prefer additional privacy, whether for personal comfort, health needs, or other reasons. While not required, they are offered as an amenity to ensure that all employees, visitors, and students can access facilities in a way that feels safe and comfortable to them.
Providing a range of restroom options helps create an environment where everyone can focus on their work, learning, and care in a setting that respects personal space and individual preferences.
For questions about restroom locations or accessibility, you may contact the Operations and Facilities Management Department.
