SPARK! Creative Design Competition
High school students will have fun collaborating with other teens and Rose-Hulman students as they complete science, engineering, and math challenges for bragging rights and to win spectacular prizes. The event will be held on April 26, 2025
from 12 pm to 4 pm
in the Rose-Hulman Sports and Recreation Center.
Registration deadline is April 10, 2025.
The free design competition, called SPARK! (Student Projects Advocating Resourceful Knowledge) has been organized by the Rose-BUD program since 2015 to increase high school student’s interests in engineering and computer science, regardless of their current background or their future plans.
Teams with the best technical and creative designs, as determined by student judges, will win prizes.
Lunch, snacks, and goodie bags will be provided.

Bring your brains, creativity and teamwork skills to the SPARK! Competition. In this hands-on event, you’ll learn, test your problem-solving ability, and make new friends in the process. There will be a guest speaker and lunch will be served.

The Rose-BUD program is a networking and professional development organization, specifically in the areas of Computer Science and Software Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering. High school seniors with approved applications for this program will be notified automatically.
