Would like to request permanent sysopship for Marathi Language Wikisource. The local request was placed on 16th May 2012 at above given link at current central discussion page at mr wikisource .Undersigned is already admin at mr wikipedia. I am core team member for wikisource and developed and created basic setups. I have contributed more than 100 articles in Wikisource and support new members for marathi language WMF wikis. Leading as Pune SIG for all wikipeia activities for Wikimedia chapter for Wikipedia and wikisource. Thanks and Regards

Hi Billinghurst, I had asked for a permanant sysopship on Marathi Wikisource. The similar request was put by Mahitgar for permanant sysopship

and he has got the same. Pl note that, I have got support of 6 editors from Marathi community members like mahitgar

Maybe I am only frustrated of seeing speedy-deletes staying in the category since october. X-wiki-patrolling the project has no gain during such cirumstances. I mark this as "not done" since I am AFK the following 12 hours. Regards! --

I think Shizhao closed this request because to him 60% is not enough confidence to be elected as a sysop. Generally sysops are elected with at least 75% of support from their local communities... By the way, Matanya already closed the same request months ago. There's no need to come with an old request for comments which was already reviewed by stewards. The best would be to open a new local request now I think. --

Hello, first, you need to let your local community know that you want to be an administrator. (You can post your request on Village Pump or another page where people can see, so they can discuss). After some time (usually 7 days to 14 days), if other editors at arcwikipedia shows support, you can ask us again and you will become an administrator. User:AliReza kept on creating pages and voting in Gilaki wikipedia to other languages although AminSanaei had warned him/her but he did not notice at all. USER:Alireza has a total of 10 edits in glk wiki which are all in an admin choosing poll page made by him/her and some other new users without any edits, and that page was not in Gilaki so User:AminSanaei deleted it. User:varg has a total of
over 2700 edits
in glk wiki and his constructive contribution has been crucial in glk wiki.

I was canceled my request about 4 days ago for collusion in your wiki and I didn't like get admin access in all wikis and I had access for 1 years! your wiki needs to repair and delete Persian pages but you don't accept our help. The discussion on GlkWiki indicates a consensus of respondents wishes to have Varg act as an admin, notwithstanding Varg's two-year hiatus from editing. The respondents were aware of the hiatus (or could easily have been made aware by looking at the users contributions) and nevertheless supported or did not remove previous supports, and so Varg is now an admin on GlkWiki. --

Discussion: please remove sysop and bureaucrate - I lost all my idealism, all my satisfaction, all my Leidenschaft. It is weird but I like playing Facebook games more than working for the Wikimedia family of projects - how low can you go. Good luck all - make me proud by allowing google adds, make lots of money and invest all of that in Wikipedia translations to languages of the people who really need this knowledge so they can improve their lives (like African languages) - I hope one day that saving a human life, or even improving ONE human life seems to be more important than not allowing adds on Wikimedia Sites (do you see how ridiculous this is?).

Recently another user made a proposal to relieve him of his admin rights because of his inactivity on the project. Discussion: I realize that my IP has been blocked because of the Open Proxy policy. I would like to iterate that I can access the internet only through this proxy provided by our institute and hence do not have an option of choosing the proxy. Sounds like you want IP block exemption or global IP block exemption. Is the error message "Your IP address has been blocked on all wikis" or is it "You are currently unable to edit pages on Wikipedia"? However, before attempting to edit that page please read
the conflict of interest
policy on the English Wikipedia, because your username makes me think that you intend for this to be a role account representing an organization (not allowed in almost all cases).--
