: Kamakura, the request is done. Thank you for your service! That being said, I see that there is an RfC, 20200904, going on arguing whether the automatic removal should be applied in your case. I have completed the request since it is you yourself who has submitted it, but bureaucrats should be free to revert this action if RfC eventually turns to a different conclusion. --Base (talk) 11:33, 16 September 2020 (UTC) |

Using this page
1. Place the following code at the bottom of the appropriate section below:
==== Username@xxproject ==== (your remarks) ~~~~
2. Fill in the values:
- domain: the wiki's URL domain (like "ex.wikipedia" or "meta.wikimedia").
- user name: the name of the user whose rights are to be changed (like "Exampleuser"). In case this is for multiple users, leave this field blank and give a list of these users in your remarks.
- discussion: a link to the local vote or discussion about the rights change (for example, "ex:Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship#ExampleUser"). This should normally be for at least one week, but no more than three weeks (if so, you'll need to restart the process).
3. If anything is missing from your request, a steward will request more information.
Confirmation of signing confidentiality agreement
Certain permissions (notably CheckUser and Oversight) additionally require users to sign a confidentiality agreement. Users requesting these permissions must make a request below, and must also sign the confidentiality agreement with the Wikimedia Foundation. The request is placed on hold temporarily, until the receipt has been formally confirmed by the Office.
COPY THE FOLLOWING CODE to the bottom of the appropriate section below:

Administrator access
See Administrator for information about this user group.
- MediaWiki interface translations are done at translatewiki.net. Please do not request administrator access solely for that purpose; your request will be declined.
- Stewards: Please use Systmp for approved temporary requests.
Requests for removal of access should be posted at the section below.
Please start a new discussion about requesting the permission on the local village pump, administrators' noticeboard or a designated page for requesting permissions each time you request or renew adminship.
- Discussions should be open for seven days. Please request adminship here seven days after discussions started. This page is not the place for any discussions or votes. (For wikis with few active users, it is OK to have no comments.)
- If you only want adminship for specific tasks, please state for how long and for which tasks you need it. Otherwise stewards will decide whether to assign permanent adminship and the duration of adminship. See Steward requests/Permissions/Minimum voting requirements.
ჯეო@ka.wiktionary
- Why is not the discussion sub-page transcluded anywhere? Ruslik (talk) 18:25, 6 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- @ჯეო: Would you mind giving an answer to this question?--evrifaessa ❯❯❯ talk 12:37, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- ჯეო, we are still waiting for your answer. --Base (talk) 16:30, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- I can't get what do you mean :)--ჯეო (talk) 18:04, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- ჯეო, it seems that the vote page is only linked from Solarkoid's talk page: wikt:ka:სპეციალური:WhatLinksHere/ვიქსიკონი:ადმინისტრატორების_არჩევნები/ჯეო/3. Normally we would expect it to be trancluded on wikt:ka:ვიქსიკონი:ადმინისტრატორების არჩევნები, but it seems that it wasn't (in fact it seems the page still has your older nomination there). We want to make sure that other community members have means to know that there is a vote running. --Base (talk) 00:16, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- I have messaged about elections to active users--ჯეო (talk) 07:12, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- It cannot be called an election, there is only one person who spoke about his candidacy and then against. This person doesn't fully know the specifics of projects, so I don’t think it was worth giving him the admin rights. P.S. also review the user's block history. --Mehman 97 07:52, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Mehman97, one vote per se is enough, in fact even 0 votes is enough as long as there is no arguments against — that is a common situation in small wikis where there is literally no one to vote. That being said the votes if cast have to be pro candidacy. ჯეო, please do transclude the page as mentioned, and let the vote run for another 7 days since you do that, it is more transparent this way. --Base (talk) 11:14, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ozymandias@pt.wikisource
I would like to renew my sysop term on pt.Wikisource. The community is small and there are not enough editors to vote. I opened a discussion about this renewal for community appreciation. Ozymandias (talk) 20:36, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to renew my temporary adminship access (3/6 months) for housekeeping and maintenance tasks. There is no active sysop controlling it in real time. Af420@ps.wikipedia
Hello, right now there is in no administrator in Pashto Wikipedia (pswiki). I'm the only active person with 5 previous terms of administration in Pashto Wikipedia (last one in july; 2020). I spent a lot of time in Pashto Wikipedia; to fix templates, creating new pages and help other users, and am also improving myself all the time, beside helping other. Thank you very much:-) — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Af420 (talk) 08:27, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- I can see only one 3 months term. Ruslik (talk) 21:06, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Af420, I also see only one 3 month term. I see that you've had different username, but I have failed finding records of you getting rights on the as well. Could you link to some evidence, please? Also, it seems that the discussion you have linked to is about your previous adminship. Please create a new 1 week vote in order to get a new tenure. Please make sure that the vote is properly linked from a local adminship page and/or Village Pump. Thanks! --Base (talk) 00:10, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, i don't know, but i love changing my wiki name, so i have done that three times. My previous names was:
And yes i have been administrator for 2 terms with that name.
- What you have linked to is the recentmost nomination, that one we have seen, but I've found at least one another of your adminships here, sorry for the confusion, logs are messy when renames are involved. That being said, please run a new vote, the one from April cannot be reused. --Base (talk) 11:18, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Interface administrator access
See Interface admin for information about this user group.
- If you are requesting adminship and the interface admin at the same time, you can file one request in administrator section and state you want interface adminship as well.
- MediaWiki interface translations are done at translatewiki.net. Please do not request interface administrator access solely for that purpose; your request will be declined.
- Since the end of 2018, all interface administrators are required to have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled. Please, enable it before posting your request here.
- Stewards: Please use Systmp for approved temporary requests.
Requests for removal of access should be posted at the section below.
Please start a new discussion about requesting the permission on the local village pump, administrators' noticeboard or a designated page for requesting permissions each time you request or renew interface adminship.
- Discussions should be open for seven days. Please request interface adminship here seven days after discussions started. This page is not the place for any discussions or votes. (For wikis with few active users, it is OK to have no comments.)
- If you only want interface adminship for specific tasks, please state for how long and for which tasks you need it. Otherwise stewards will decide whether to assign permanent interface adminship and the duration of interface adminship. See Steward requests/Permissions/Minimum voting requirements.
Bureaucrat access
See
Bureaucratfor information about this user group.
- In principle, requests for temporary bureaucrat access are not granted.
- A small project does not need bureaucrats. Currently whether a promotion is valid or not is decided by stewards. See here for a guideline.
Requests for removal of access should be posted at the section below.
CheckUser access
See
CheckUser policyfor information about this user group and the policy governing the use of this tool.
- To request CheckUser information, see Steward requests/Checkuser. This is the place to request CheckUser access.
- One-time CheckUser access is not permitted and temporary access is only used by Stewards or when the mandate of the CUs has an expiry date specified in local policies.
Oversight access
See
Oversight policyfor information about this user group and the policy governing the use of this tool.
- To request to have content oversighted, ask for a steward in #wikimedia-stewardsconnect and contact a steward privately. This section is for requesting access to the Oversight tool.
- For contact details about oversighters across the wikis, refer to this page.
- Note that temporary Oversight access is not permitted and temporary status is only used by Stewards .
- When a new user is assigned to this group, please add them to this list.
Removal of access
- If you're requesting the removal of your own permissions, make sure you're logged in to your account. If you have multiple flags, specify which you want removed. Stewards may delay your request a short time to ensure you have time to rethink your request (see previous discussion on 24 hour delays); the rights will not be restored by stewards once they are removed.
- To request the removal of another user's permissions, you must gain consensus on the local wiki first. When there is community consensus that the user's access should be removed, provide a link to the discussion, with a brief explanation of the reason for the request, and summarize the results of discussion. However, as bureaucrats of some wikis may remove users from the administrator or bureaucrat group, please see also a separate list of these specific wikis.
- To request the removal of another user's permissions for inactivity, link to your local inactivity policy. If your site does not have inactivity policy, the global policy Admin activity review applies.
- See the instructions above for adding new requests. Please post new requests at the bottom of the section.
Adithyak1997@mlwiki
I am currently less active in Wikipedia and am sure I will not be able to become active in the next 5 or 6 months. So I request to please remove my admin rights assigned in mlwiki. Adithyak1997 (talk) 07:25, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
On hold for one day, feel free to withdraw this request at any time before it's completed. --Base (talk) 14:46, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Miscellaneous requests
Requests for permissions that don't fit in other sections belong here. Importer rights can be granted on most wikis by stewards only. Please gain local community consensus before posting a new section here.
Note that the following types of permissions requests belong on separate pages:
DannyS712@elwikinews
el.wikinews is currently inactive (see Proposals for closing projects/Soft close of Greek Wikinews and n:el:Special:RecentChanges) and the only admin is inactive (n:el:Special:Contributions/Glavkos). I'd like to be granted editor rights for a short while to try and tackle the backlog of pending changes. Some can obviously be accepted, eg around 100 pages where the pending edits result in no net change (https://el.wikinews.org/w/index.php?title=Κατηγορία:Αιτήματα_για_διαγραφή&diff=cur&oldid=6588), edits by CommonsDelinker (n:el:Special:Contributions/CommonsDelinker), simple image replacements (https://el.wikinews.org/w/index.php?title=Πρότυπο:Αλγερία&diff=cur&oldid=62894), etc. There does not appear to be a community to request the rights from (the site is soft-closed). Happy to answer any questions. Thanks, --DannyS712 (talk) 16:44, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Since the project is soft-closed and not closed, it does have a Café. I would prefer if you drop a note there, especially since you seem to be el-0 (although I realise that the changes you are talking about do not really require any language knowledge). --Base (talk) 18:03, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
On hold till September 16. --Base (talk) 14:57, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Granted for 1 month to expire on 2020-10-16. @DannyS712: I decided to grant this for a month, since wording of your request seems to indicate this should be only temporary assignment. --Martin Urbanec (talk) 10:32, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
