City Colleges of Chicago graduates receive guaranteed admission to Chicago State!
Chicago State University (CSU) offers guaranteed admissions to City Colleges of Chicago
(CCC) students who complete an Associate of Arts (AA) or an Associate of Science (AS)
degree, enabling them to enroll in over 20 baccalaureate programs. Additionally, graduates
with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) receive guaranteed admission specifically
to Chicago State’s Early Childhood and Supply Chain Management programs.

2.5 GPA requirement
Junior standing (60 credit hours)
Completion of AA or AS degree
Submission of a participation form at least one term prior to enrollment
Early academic advising support
Honors College participation
Waived application fee
Consideration for financial assistance or scholarship
Chicago Star Scholarship
Chicago Star Scholar - Transfer students from City Colleges of Chicago who were recipients
of the Chicago Star Scholarship award are eligible for a scholarship of $1,000 per
year for two years.

Earn Your Associate Degree with Reverse Transfer
Did you transfer to Chicago State University before completing your associate degree
at City Colleges of Chicago (CCC)? If you have completed a minimum of 15 semester
hours at any of the City Colleges, once you have completed at least 60 credits (combined), you
are eligible to be considered for an associate degree.
