Wuzhizhou Island
Dubbed "China's Maldives," Wuzhizhou Island is located within Haitang Bay, approximately 30 kilometers from downtown Sanya. It is a paradise for diving enthusiasts, offering activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skiing, and banana boating. Tianya Haijiao (The Ends of the Earth)
The Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area is located about 23 kilometers southwest of downtown Sanya and is a National 5A-level Tourist Attraction. The area features rugged giant rocks, with granite boulders inscribed with the characters "Tianya" (Heaven's Edge) and "Haijiao" (Sea's Corner) standing on the beach. Symbolizing the ends of the earth, it has long been synonymous with romance and poetry. Opening hours are from 8:00 to 18:00 daily, with tickets costing approximately 65 to 89 CNY.
Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone
The Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone is famous for the 108-meter-tall statue of Guanyin (Goddess of Mercy) of the South Sea, the world's largest white-robed Guanyin statue. The zone also includes Buddhist architectural complexes such as Nanshan Temple and the Thirty-Three Guanyin Hall, along with a tropical botanical garden and vegetarian restaurants. Haitang Bay & Atlantis Sanya
