Tuna Tomato Melts
Steps:
Wash hands and all surfaces.
Rinse all fresh produce under cold water and dry with paper towel.
Lay the slices of bread on a parchment-lined baking sheet and toast at 400°F until lightly golden. Set aside.
Clean off the tops of the tuna cans with a damp paper towel. Open the cans with a can opener and drain out the excess liquid very well. Set aside.
Remove the ends of the celery and green onions. Chop the, both into small, bite-sized pieces and set aside.
Chop the parsley very very small and set aside.
Thinly slice the tomatoes and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, add all of the ingredients except for the bread, 1 cup of cheese, and 1 tbsp of parsley. Mix well and evenly divide over the 8 pieces of toast.
Sprinkle toast with cheese. Add on tuna and gently flatten.
Bake at 400°F on the top rack until the cheese is golden and bubbly. Top with tomato.
Serve and enjoy!
Atún y Tomate Derretido
Lavarse las manos y todas las superficies.
Enjuague todos los productos frescos con agua fría y séquelos con una toalla de papel.
Coloque las rebanadas de pan en una bandeja para hornear forrada con pergamino y tueste a 400°F hasta que estén doradas. Dejar de lado.
Limpia la parte superior de las latas de atún con una toalla de papel húmeda. Abre las latas con un abrelatas y escurre muy bien el exceso de líquido. Dejar de lado.
