వికీపీడియాలో పాఠకులకు కనిపించే ప్రతి పేజీని "పేజీ" అనే అంటారు. ఈ పేజీల లోని సమాచారాన్ని వాడుకరులే చేరుస్తారు. వాడుకరులు చేర్చే సమాచారమంతా డేటాబేసులో నిక్షిప్తమౌతుంది. పాఠకులు ఏదైనా పేజీ కావాలని అడిగినపుడు వికీపీడియా సాఫ్టువేరు, ఆ పేజీకి సంబంధించిన డేటాను తీసుకుని, అప్పటికప్పుడు పేజీని సృష్టించి పాఠకులకు చూపిస్తుంది.

ప్రధానబరిలో ఉండే పేజీలను "వ్యాసాలు" అంటారు. పాఠకులు చదివే విజ్ఞానసర్వస్వ పేజీలు ఇవే. ఇతర పేరుబరుల్లోని పేజీలు, వ్యాసాలకు అనుబంధంగానో, వ్యాసాలకు తోడ్పడేందుకో ఉంటాయి.

వికీపీడియాలో ఒక పేరుబరి పేరు ఇది. "టెంప్లేట్" అనే ఇంగ్లీషు పేరుబరికి ఇది తెలుగు పేరు. ఇందులో ఉండే పేజీలను వేరే పేజీల్లో ప్రతిక్షేపించేందుకే (ఇమిడ్చేందుకు) వాడతారు.

వికీపీడియాలో ఒక పేరుబరి పేరు. "క్యాటగిరీ" అనే ఇంగ్లీషు పేరుబరికి ఇది తెలుగు పేరు. పేజీ విషయం పరంగా, కంటెంటు లోని భావన పరంగా, పేజీ లోని కొన్ని విశిష్టాంశాల పరంగా ఒకే కోవకు చెందిన పేజీలను ఒక వర్గం లోకి చేరుస్తారు. ఈ వర్గం లోని పేజీలకు ముందు

సవరణ
పాఠ్యంలో చేసే మార్పును సవరణ అంటారు. ఒక దిద్దుబాటులో ఎన్నైనా సవరణలు చెయ్యవచ్చు. సాధారణంగా సవరణ, దిద్దుబాటు లను సమానార్థకంగా వాడుతూ ఉంటారు
సమాచారపెట్టె
పేజీలోని సమాచారం లోని ముఖ్యమైన డేటాను తీసుకుని ఒకచోట చూపించే పెట్టెను సమాచారపెట్టె అంటారు. సాధారణంగా ప్రతీ వ్యాసానికీ ఒక సమాచారపెట్టె ఉంటుంది. ఇంగ్లీషువారు దీన్ని ఇన్ఫోబాక్స్ అని అనువదించుకున్నారు :-)

వికీపీడియా పేరుబరుల్లో ఒకటి. బొమ్మలు, ఆడియోలు, వీడియోలు, డాక్యుమెంట్లు వగైరాలన్నీ ఈ పేరుబరిలో ఉంటాయి. alluri seetaramaraju.jpg అనే బొమ్మను వికీపీడియా లోకి ఎక్కించాక, దాన్ని వికీలో ఎక్కడైనా వాడాలంటే "దస్త్రం:alluri seetaramaraju.jpg" అనే పేరుతో ఉదహరించాలి.
శాశ్వత లింకు
వికీపీడియాలో సమాచారం ఎప్పటికప్పుడూ మెరుగుపడుతూ, మారుతూ ఉంటుంది. ఇప్పుడు ఉన్న పేజీ రూపం కొద్దికాలం తరువాత మారిపోవచ్చు. ఏదైనా పేజీ లోని సమాచారాన్ని ప్రస్తావిస్తూ మరోచోట లింకు ఇచ్చినపుడు, లింకు ఇచ్చిన సమయానికీ ఆ తరువాతకూ సమాచారం మారిపోయి, లింకు అసందర్భమై పోవచ్చు. దీన్ని నివారించేందుకు గాను, పేజీకి నేరుగా లింకు ఇవ్వకుండా, లింకు ఇచ్చిన సమయానికి పేజీ ఏ స్థితిలో నైతే ఉందో ఆ రూపానికి లింకు ఇవ్వవచ్చు. ఆ స్థితిని చూపించేదే "శాశ్వత లింకు"
తరలింపు
వికీపీడియాలో పేజీని ఒక పేరు నుండి మరో పేరుకు మార్చడాన్ని తరలింపు అంటారు. అలా తరలించినపుడు పాతపేరుతో ఉన్న పేజీ కొత్తపేజీకి దారిమార్పు పేజీ అవుతుంది. అంటే పాతపేరుకు వెళ్ళినపుడు అది ఆటోమాటిగ్గా కొత్తపేరు పేజీకి పంపిస్తుంది.

ఒకే పేజీకి పలు పేర్లు పెట్టుకునే సౌలభ్యం. "నందమూరి తారక రామారావు" అనే పేరుతో పేజీ ఉందనుకోండి. ఎన్టీయార్, ఎన్.టి.రామారావు, ఎన్.టి.ఆర్ అనే పేర్లు కూడా ఆ వ్యక్తికే ఉన్న పేర్లు కాబట్టి, ఆ పేజీలకు వెళ్ళినపుడు కూడా నందమూరి తారక రామారావు పేజీలో ఉన్న సమాచారాన్నే చూపించాలి. దీనికోసం ఈ పేర్లతో కూడా పేజీలను సృష్టించి, పాఠకులు ఆ పేజీల కోసం అడిగినపుడు వారిని ఆటోమాటిగ్గా "నందమూరి తారక రామారావు" పేజీకే పంపించేలా చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఇలాంటి పేజీలను దారిమార్పు పేజీలంటాం. ఒక పేజీకి దారిమార్పు పేజీలు ఎన్నైనా ఉండవచ్చు.
