A Lifelong Journey (Chinese: 人世间) is a 2022 Chinese period drama adapted from Liang Xiaosheng's Mao Dun Literature Prize-winning novel of the same name. Directed by Li Lu and starring Lei Jiayin, Yin Tao, Xin Boqing, and Song Jia, the 58-episode series aired on CCTV-1 and iQiyi beginning January 28, 2022.

Plot Summary
In the early 1970s, the Zhou family lives in Guangzipian, a working-class district of the northern city Jichun. Father Zhou Zhigang is a construction worker, mother a homemaker. Their three children each have different aspirations: eldest son Zhou Bingyi (Xin Boqing) is an outstanding student driven by a sense of public duty; daughter Zhou Rong (Song Jia) is a free spirit who follows her heart; youngest son Zhou Bingkun (Lei Jiayin) is a good-natured simpleton who stays close to home.
Over five decades of turbulent change, the three siblings each face their own trials. Zhou Bingyi rises from sent-down youth to government official, clinging to his principles. Zhou Rong travels to remote Guizhou to teach, experiencing the sweetness and bitterness of love. Zhou Bingkun remains in Guangzipian, enduring the most suffering yet finding the deepest love.
Yin Tao plays Zheng Juan, Zhou Bingkun's wife — a woman of extraordinary resilience whose fate moved countless viewers.
