Coined by 2026 Center for Craft Curatorial Fellow Alyssa Velazquez, the term "craft-itarianism" names projects that generate employment, raise awareness, or offer therapeutic support through craft.

Closings
Center for Craft observes federal holidays and offices are closed on these days. The galleries remain open for all federal holidays with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
Pricing
Galleries are free open to the public.
Parking
Metered on-street parking and hourly garages are available nearby on Broadway Street and Rankin Avenue.
The Center for Craft is committed to making its building, programs, and services accessible to all audiences. The Center is wheelchair accessible and offers large print formatting (available at the front desk). Audio Description and Sign Language Interpretation available with two weeks advance notice.
