Whether you’re planning a hike on the A.T. or simply interested in learning more about the world’s longest hiking-only footpath, are here to help. Appalachian Trail Conservancy Headquarters & Visitor Center
One of the most well-known landmarks along the Trail, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy’s Harpers Ferry Visitor Center is a great resource whether you’re exploring historic Harpers Ferry, looking for a fantastic day hike nearby, or are interested in learning more about the world’s most famous footpath.

Damascus Trail Center
The Damascus Trail Center is a hub for outdoor recreation, education, and stewardship, connecting visitors and volunteers to the Appalachian Trail and surrounding natural resources. Stop by daily for hiker support, exhibits, event space, and guidance exploring the region’s many trails and outdoor attractions.

Monson Appalachian Trail Visitor Center
Open seasonally from June to mid-October, the Monson Appalachian Trail Visitor Center assists hikers in planning safe and enjoyable trips on the A.T. and other trails in the Hundred Mile Wilderness, Moosehead Lake regions, and Baxter State Park.
