pedalboard is a Python library for working with audio: reading, writing, rendering, adding effects, and more. It supports most popular audio file formats and a number of common audio effects out of the box, and also allows the use of VST3® and Audio Unit formats for loading third-party software instruments and effects.
Bitter shows how many of the available bits are being used by the audio signal, reports clipping samples, and estimates when digital-to-analog conversion would cause inter-sample clips. Typical uses for a bitscope include: verifying that a render dither is working properly; verifying that a particular plugin is not reducing the signal bit depth; testing for faulty audio source data.
Features:
Check for Intersample Clipping that may appear during digital-to-analog conversion
Detailed display of the usage density of each bit
Reveal the bitrate of the digital signal, which may well differ from that of the file’s bitrate or your DAW’s audio engine bitrate
A fully free and self-contained modular synthesizer based on the popular VCV Rack. Available in AudioUnit/CLAP/LV2/VST2/VST3 plugin formats and as a standalone app for FreeBSD, Linux, macOS, Windows and the Web.
Filtron is a 12dB state variable filter that can smoothly transition between lowpass, bandpass, and highpass. It is capable of self-oscillation with resonance levels that can reach up to 11! Filtron also features a fat sounding internal saturation algorithm and a sizzly post overdrive with two modes to choose from: cold and hot.

The plugin is very unique in the sense that it gives you full control over all aspects of the modelled circuit. All values of all the capacitors, resistors etc. can be tuned by the user.
This is a free plugin. It comes in all the usual plugin formats (VST/VST3/AU/AAX), for 32 and 64 bit hosts, and for Mac Intel & Silicon.
Benihora is a Rust library and VST Plugin that generates voice based on a vocal tract model. This is a Rust port of Pink Trombone developed by Neil Thapen with some customizations.
DISTRHO Ildaeil is mini-plugin host working as a plugin, allowing one-to-one plugin format reusage. The idea is to load it as a plugin inside your DAW and then the other “real” plugin inside Ildaeil. This allows, for example, a VST3 host to load LV2 plugins and vice-versa.
The Ildaeil name comes from the korean 일대일, which means “one to one”.
Features:
The current formats Ildaeil can work as are:
JACK/Standalone
CLAP
LV2
VST2
VST3
And it can load the following plugin formats:
Internal (from Carla)
LADSPA
DSSI
LV2
VST2
VST3
CLAP
JSFX
With a few extra formats through the “Load from file…” action:
Audio files (through internal audio file player, synced to transport)
MIDI files (through internal MIDI file player, synced to transport)
Yet Another way to use Windows audio plugins on Linux. Yabridge seamlessly supports using both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows VST2, VST3, and CLAP plugins in 64-bit Linux plugin hosts as if they were native plugins, with optional support for plugin groups to enable inter-plugin communication for VST2 plugins and quick startup times. Its modern concurrent architecture and focus on transparency allows yabridge to be both fast and highly compatible, while also staying easy to debug and maintain.
Flash is a high quality transient shaper with Mid/Side capabilities, a clipping function to never exceed 0dB, with handy mix and output volume controls.
