Wikimedia UK yw'r elusen genedlaethol ar gyfer y mudiad agored a rhyngwladol Wikimedia. Cydweithiwn gyda Phrosiectau Wikimedia, fel Wicipedia, i helpu pobl a sefydliadau i gyfrannu at gefnfor o wybodaeth am y blaned a thu hwnt, a hynny'n agored ac am ddim. Cydweithiwn gyda nifer o sefydliadau addysgol a diwylliannol, gan gynnwys y Coleg Cymraeg, CBAC, Prifysgolion Abertawe a Bangor. Oherwydd pwer ac argaeledd Wicipedia Cymraeg, caiff ei chrybwyll gan Lywodraeth Cymru o fewn ei fframwaith ddigidol a'i strategaeth 2050). Mae galeriau, llyfrgelloedd ac amgueddfeydd mwya'r byd hefyd yn cydweithio gyda ni, ac mae Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru wedi gwneud camau arloesol. Holwch ble mae eich clwb neu brosiect wici agosaf er mwyn i ni fedru darparu gwybodaeth agored ac am ddim i bawb drwy'r byd!
Wikimedia UK has worked in partnership with a number of education organisations and bodies in Wales including Coleg Cymraeg, the WJEC, and Swansea and Bangor Universities. Due to the reach, depth and impact of Wikipedia, the Welsh Government is also working closely with us on a number of projects. Some of the world’s leading galleries, libraries, archives and museums including the National Library of Wales have unlocked content on open licences. Let us know how we can work with your school, college, institution or society.
