Šarićev prijevod Biblije

Prvo pitanje: Može li tko se sjeti objaviti Šarićev prijevod Biblije, budući da još nije prošlo 70 godina od njegove smrti?
Drugo pitanje: Gdje je link za upis novog priloga? Vidim samo link za vježbanje, ali ne znam može li se to "vježbanje" kasnije spremiti kao "pravi tekst".

Biblija prijevod Ivan Šarić koji je postavljen ovdje na ovim stranicama, i raširen svuda po Internetu već godinama, ovim se daje svima do znanja da to nije Šarićev prijevod iz god. 1942, nego je to Šaricev revidirani prijevod Đure Matinjaka iz god. 1998. Tko god hoće može to lahko uporedditi sa skeniranim Šarićevim originalnim prijevodom iz god. 1942. koji je postavljen na ovoj adresi:
U redu je da se taj prijevod širi, ali treba biti istinito predstavljen javnosti. Već je krajnje vrijeme da se to ispravi. Taj prijevod je prvi Šarićev popravljeni prijevod a tiskan je u Zagrebu 1997 i 1998, a onaj koji je kasnije izdan u Zgrebu pod istim nazivom jest drugi popravljeni prijevod. Iako je to prešućeno to je živa Iistina!

O postavljanju zakona i drugih pravnih akata na Wikizvor

Pozdrav svima
Potpuno je nepotrebno postavljati sada vrijedeće zakone jer su isti dostupni na stranicma Narodnih novina. Tako je isto sa svim zakonima od 1990. nadalje. Zakoni socijalističke Jugoslavije i NR
i SR Hrvatske do 1990. godine, zbog njihove ogromne brojnosti, nije mjesto na Wikizvoru. Ustave socijalističke Jugoslavije i NR, SR Hrvatske treba postaviti jer su to povijesno važni dokumenti, ali treba biti oprezan i glede zakonima NDH.
NDH nije imala pisani ustav, a zakona i upravnih akata Poglavnika i Vlade je bio ogroman broj. Treba napraviti selekciju najvažnijih zakona, a to nije samo zadatak pravnika već i povjesničara. Za pomoć s povijesne strane slobodno mi se možete obratiti preko ove stranice.
Također treba paziti na veličinu dokumenta. Kazneni zakon je primjer prevelikog dokumenta.

Sistemsko vrijeme

Mislim da je sistemsko vrijeme podešeno dva sata unatrag. Bilo i lijepo kad bi se ispravilo na lokalno vrijeme.

Wikizvor je na
GMT-u
, a svaki suradnik može namjestiti svoje lokalno vrijeme u postavkama (kad se prijavi na wikizvor). U suprotnom, suradnici wikizvora u SAD-u, Australiji i Europi bi svi imali vrijeme kao da su u Hrvatskoj, što nije dobro rješenje, a ovako svatko može gledati vrijeme kao svoje lokalno.

Zakoni

Pozdrav,
po mom skromnom mišljenju, neki zakoni RH bi trebali biti u Wikizvoru, svakako oni bitniji. Ništa ne garantira da će zakoni na NN ostati dostupni, a što je gore, shema URL na NN se može promijeniti u svakom trenutku. Tada poveznice iz Wikipedije na zakone propadaju. Održavanje istih tada postaje noćna mora.
Svakako da ne treba sve staviti na Wikizvor. Jedan primjer zakona koji je bitan je
Zakon o izbornim jedinicama (1999)
, budući da se po njemu provode trenutni izbori. Imamo kartu izbornih jedinica, ali ona je neprecizna -- Zakon je referentan! Dakle, uz sliku
uvijek
ide poveznica na Zakon, koji bi svakako trebao biti na WI.
Budući da će se zakon mijenjati, uz naziv Zakona stavio sam godinu donošenja. U nekim pravnim sustavima svaki zakon ima svoj broj, pa je tako lakše označavati; dok se kod nas to ne uvede, to je jedini način da noviji zakon ne prebriše stari (nadam se da je svima jasno zašto se ne smije prebrisati).

Glupost! Točno se zna kako se zakon označava, tj. kako se navode hrvatski zakoni i sve drugo objavljeno u NN. Zakon se označava tako da se navede njegovo puno ime, a njegovo
prezime
je broj Narodnih novina. Ako zakon ima izmjene i dopune, tada se u zagradi navode svi brojevi Narodnih novina u kojima su objavljene izmjene i dopune. Ako Zakon ima pročišćeni tekst (kao ovaj što ga navodiš), tada se navodi u zagradi broj NN u kojem je objavljen pročišćeni tekst i stavlja se naznaka "pročišćeni tekst". Ako zakon ima ispravak tada se uz broj narodnih novina stavlja napomena "ispravak". To od uvijek postoji i ne treba smišljavat toplu vodu i govorit kako je to u drugim pravnim sustavima. --

Nadalje: recentno je stvoreno nekoliko autorskih članaka o autorima koji su još živi, ili koji su tek nedavno preminuli tako da im u svakom slučaju autorska prava neće isteći još dosta dugo, tako da nijedan njihov rad neće moći biti ovdje postavljen vjerojatno za vrijeme života bilo kog od nas (smrt+70 god). Sve je dopuštno, samo da se dodaje sadržaj :) Međutim, problem je sa tim tekstovima na archive.org što nisu ponajbolje OCR-ani za hrvatski (kad klikneš na sirovi tekst na "Full Text" poveznici), pa ako imaš neki drugi digitalizirani i provjereni oblik tog istog teksta onda je najbolje preskočiti cijelu muku sa ispravljanjem stranicu po stranicu i samo uraditi copy/paste.
U konačnici, za krajnjeg korisnika, stvar je ista - i u jednom i u drugom slučaju imat će isti tekst. Postupkom provjere stranicu-po-stranicu i transkluzijom preko {{
stranica
}} predloška u glavni imenski prostor otvara se međutim prilika za povećanjem kvalitete projekta, jer je na klik miša dostupan tiskani izvornik za koji se svatko može uvjeriti da odgovara predstavljenome obliku teksta.
Usput, koliko vidim dotična knjiga i nije baš najbolje skenirana, tako da bi trebalo imati sa strane tiskanu kopiju da se nedostajući dijelovi popune.. --

Hm, imaš pravo što se tiče lošeg skeniranja. :/ Isprva sam mislila da prigovaraš onim iskrivljenjima u dnu, što i ne bi bio problem, ali postoje baš potpuno nečitke stranice i to nije slučaj samo na toj knjizi. Potražit ću nešto drugo što odgovara mojim ograničenim sposobnostima. :) --

Izgleda super. Genijalac koji je skenirao je izostavio stranice 222 i 223 tako da ćemo se morati nekako skrpit bez njih ;) Sljedeća faza bi bilo dodavanje sirovog, skeniranog teksta
odavde
na pojedine stranice (povezujući dakako rastavljene riječi na kraju retka, i razdjeljujući tekst u paragrafe), pa onda pregledavanje, provjera i transkluzija konačnog teksta u glavni imenski prostor. --

Po mom mišljenju, takve očite omaške bi bilo najbolje ispraviti, jer se radi o pogrješci u tiskarskom slogu, a ne o izvornom rukopisnom

Očite tiskarske pogrješke je logično ispraviti (njihovo

, tj. doslovno prenošenje teksta iz knjiga do posljednjeg slova/pogrješke ne pomaže nikome, ni autoru ni čitateljima). Druge intervencije ne bi trebalo provoditi, ili ako se već provode treba navesti paralelno izvorni i osuvremenjeni hrvatski tekst, no kako je ovo Wikizvor, prioritet je postavljanje "novih" izvornih djela, ne njihovo uređivanje.

Planiram objaviti izvještaj o arheološkim nalazima iz Lašvanske doline. Djelo je izdano u 19. stoljeću, autori su Karl Patsch i Ćiro Truhelka. Smijem li to učiniti? Je li djelo još uvijek zaštićeno autorskim pravima? Izdavač je Zemaljski muzej u Sarajevu. --

Usporedio sam tekst Ev. po Luki na vašoj str. s onim u tikanoj knjizi (Hrv. bibl.društvo Zgb - Vrhbosanska nadbiskupija Sarajevo i Verbum Split) i naišao na znatne rzlike. Prijevod je od istog autora(I Šarić)! Usporedite i vi pa ćete se uvjeriti(npr.Gl. 24,redak 42). Možete li mi objasniti zašto su nastale te razlike?

and wanted to include your Wikisource. I would twitter new text from your "new texts" section on the main page. What i noticed is that you don't have the authors of the books listed there. I'd like you to consider stating the author of the book there as well or otherwise the Croatian announcements will go without an author.
And I need a translation for this phrase to operate the bot: "$book by $author is now available on the Croatian Wikisource." where $book and $author will be replaced by the bot.

. Dio (brzog) posla bih obavio sam, a kasnije možda bot. Predložak posotji na ruskom wikizvoru, samo sam ga malo izmijenio i pojednostavio. Gotov je ako mi ništa novo ne padne na pamet, a primjere možete vidjeti na

). Dretarova djela spadaju pod "Prijevode izvornih tekstova" (Biblije), ali također i pod "Izvorne tekstove koji su prethodno objavljeni od strane autora". Ako se radi o prijevodu nekog djela na hrvatski jezik, pri čemu je prevoditelj/su prevoditelji suradnici wikizvora, primjenjuje se rečenica koja piše na dnu stranice svakog Wikimedijinog projekta:
Ukoliko ne želite da se vaš tekst nemilosrdno uređuje i slobodno raspačava, nemojte ga slati ovdje.
No ako se radi o objavljenom prijevodu/izvorniku koji ne podliježe autorskom pravu jer je objavljen pred 50/70 ili više godina ili se autor/prevoditelj odrekao autorskih prava, onda se takav tekst nema što više dalje uređivati, kad jednom postane identičan onome objavljenom u izvorniku. Dakle:
nije moguće zanijekati autorstvo prijevoda, kad je on već jednom objavljen
objavljeni prijevod se uređuje u tolikoj mjeri da bude vjeran izvorniku, uz možebitno ispravljanje tiskarskih pogrešaka.

To bi onda značilo da imamo paradoks:
djelo je postavljano na Wikizvor pa bi samim time trebalo biti slobodno za "nemilosrdno uređivanje";
djelo je prvi put
objavljeno
na Wikizvoru pa se kao autorsko ne bi smjelo značajnije mijenjati.
Mislim da nam ovo baš nije potrebno - zato i postoji mogućnost da se stavi da je djelo "Wikizvorov prijevod" (samo prijevodi smiju biti djela Wikizvorovih suradnika). No dakako da sad ne bismo trebali ili mogli maknuti Dretarovo autorstvo pa predlažem da njegove prijevode ostavimo kakvi i jesu, a da ubuduće upozorimo ljude da ako žele neobjavljeno djelo postaviti na Wikizvor, neka napišu da je Wikizvorov prijevod. Što se tiče
neobjavljenih
djela na hrvatskom: ona ne bi ni trebala biti na Wikizvoru, jel tako? Inače bismo imali gornji paradoks... -—

Nije mi bila namjera lažirati nekakvo slaganje zajednice i žao mi je ako je tako ispalo. Činjenica je da nijedan patroler ni suradnik nije reagirao na moje prebacivanje dvadesetak tekstova u Wikizvor
(osim jednog novijeg suradnika koji je pristao na moje rješenje kad sam mu ga pobliže objasnio)

Kad budem navodio strane Wikizvore i Wikipedije, to je tek zato da se uzmu u obzir, ne da mora biti tako.
Na Wikizvoru postoji pravilo da tu ne spadaju tekstovi na stranom jeziku. Ovdje se slažemo.
Ako postoji potreba, iznimka se može napraviti;

Ja tvrdim da je kod slučaja himni ta iznimka potrebna. Ponavljam, pobiješ li mi argumente, odustajem od stava i brišem strane tekstove.
Kako bismo dobro utvrdili je li iznimka potrebna, nužno je znati stanje s himnama koje se tiče i Wikipedije i Wikizvora. Rubno je to područje jer nema jasnih pravila. Engleski uvijek, francuski i portugalski ponegdje podržavaju paralelno strani izvornik i prijevod. Njemački, talijanski i poljski gotovo da nemaju stranih.
Na mnogim Wikipedijama (engl., franc.) tekstovi i prijevod postoje dvostruko: na Wikipediji i na Wikizvoru. Polazio sam od mišljenja da Wikipediji nisu potrebni tekstovi himni, koji uza se povlače prijevode, prijepise, inačice i drugo. Smatrao sam da to nije za enciklopediju, iako se na stranici Što Wikipedija nije to izričito ne spominje.
Dakako da je potreban citat
, pa sam citirao (
w:Himni i Flamurit
w:Mila Rodino
).
Mislim da bi na Wikipediji trebao biti članak,
dakle brojni podaci o himni, poput povijesti, nastanka, političkog okvira, korištenju, razvoju itd. Za to ima materijala. Logično da u Wikizvor spadaju izvorni tekstovi. E sad dolazimo do problema:
Ima li smisla da prijevod u Wikizvoru stoji sam, bez izvornika (i transkripcije i sličnog)?
Smatram da ima jedino u slučaju da je taj prijevod objavio neki umjetnik i da zadovoljava uvjete za Wikizvor. Ali prijevodi su najvećim dijelom suradnički, ne baš kvalitetni prijevodi. Pored Wikizvorovih prijevoda često se navodi izvornik (
preveo Ivan Štambuk
) iako ne postoji pravilo, kako bi netko i sa slabim znanjem usporedio i uvidio kvalitetu prijevoda. Osim toga, himne se uvijek izvode na izvornom jeziku, pa ako netko sluša vokalnu izvedbu, dobro mu dođe izvornik pred očima.

Pozdrav svima suradnicima Wikizvora. Ja nisam još suradnik a neznam ni kako se upisati jer ne mogu naći gdje.
Svuda po Internetu se može naći ovu Bibliju pod imenom Šarić ja znam odakle je taj prijevod i sa sigurnošću mogu reći da to nije originalni prijevod Ivana Šarića iz god. 1942. Nego je to revidirani Šarićev prijevod Đure Martinjaka god. 1998. To sve nije bitno neka se Božja Riječ širi ali je bitno da se u javnosti upozna istina.

As many of you are aware, the Wikimedia Board of Trustees recently initiated important changes in the way that money is being distributed within the Wikimedia movement. As part of this, a new community-led "
Funds Dissemination Committee
" (FDC) is currently being set up. Already in 2012-13, its recommendations will guide the decisions about the distribution of over 10 million US dollars among the Foundation, chapters and other
eligible entities
Now, seven capable, knowledgeable and trustworthy community members are sought to volunteer on the initial Funds Dissemination Committee. It is expected to take up its work in September. In addition, a community member is sought to be the
Ombudsperson

Wikidata is getting close to a first roll-out

As some of you might already have heard Wikimedia Deutschland is working on a new Wikimedia project. It is called
m:Wikidata
. The goal of Wikidata is to become a central data repository for the Wikipedias, its sister projects and the world. In the future it will hold data like the number of inhabitants of a country, the date of birth of a famous person or the length of a river. These can then be used in all Wikimedia projects and outside of them.
The project is divided into three phases and "we are getting close to roll-out the first phase". The phases are:
language links in the Wikipedias (making it possible to store the links between the language editions of an article just once in Wikidata instead of in each linked article)
infoboxes (making it possible to store the data that is currently in infoboxes in one central place and share the data)
lists (making it possible to create lists and similar things based on queries to Wikidata so they update automatically when new data is added or modified)

Fundraising localization: volunteers from outside the USA needed

Hello All,
The Wikimedia Foundation's Fundraising team have begun our 'User Experience' project, with the goal of understanding the donation experience in different countries outside the USA and enhancing the localization of our donation pages. I am searching for volunteers to spend 30 minutes on a Skype chat with me, reviewing their own country's donation pages. It will be done on a 'usability' format (I will ask you to read the text and go through the donation flow) and will be asking your feedback in the meanwhile.
The only pre-requisite is for the volunteer to actually live in the country and to have access to at least one donation method that we offer for that country (mainly credit/debit card, but also real-time banking like IDEAL, E-wallets, etc...) so we can do a live test and see if the donation goes through.
All volunteers will be reimbursed of the donations that eventually succeed
(and they will be low amounts, like 1-2 dollars)
By helping us you are actually helping thousands of people to support our mission of free knowledge across the world. Please sing up and help us with our 'User Experience' project! :)

Thank you to everyone who volunteered last year on the Wikimedia fundraising 'User Experience' project. We have talked to many different people in different countries and their feedback has helped us immensely in restructuring our pages. If you haven't heard of it yet, the 'User Experience' project has the goal of understanding the donation experience in different countries (outside the USA) and enhancing the localization of our donation pages.

Što se to podrazumieva pod stranim jezikom? Da li svaki jezik koji se neuklapa u hrvatski novoštokavski standard ili svaka inačica jezika koja nije štokavska? Ako je tako tada pola hrvatskog Wikizvora bi se trebalo obrisati, jer ako Prešeren se traba prevoditi, tada se prevoditi moraju i Marulić, i Vitezović, i Zrinski, i Frankopan, i Domjanić, i Lucić, pa čak i dubrovački pisci. Nije li to absurdno? Da u Hrvatski jezik spadaju srbski i crnogorski pisci, i jezik kojim su oni pisali netreba se prevoditi, već se podrazumieva pod jezikom kojeg vi zovete hrvatskim. Koliko ja znam u današnjezvanom slovenskom jeziku nepostoji ni jedna rieč, koja se nemože naći u lexiku kajkavskog nariečja, a ukoliko netko nerazumije kajkavski jezik (uključujući današnju Slovenščinu) ili čakavski koji je isto tako sličniji "slovenskom" jeziku negoli današnje hrvatskom, tada taj, nerazumije hrvatski jezik i nema što tražiti na hrvatskoj inačici Wikizvora neka svoju književnu slast utaži u srbskoj inačici (srbski jezik nema takvo bogatsvo jezika i rieči). Kakav strani jezik? Štokavski jezik je jedan jezik, kako l' god ga kakve budale zbog političkih i nationalnih opredjeljenja zvali. Po takvomu bi trebalo obrisati sve članke na štokavskom jeziku, jer u biti štokavski jezik s jedne strane i jest strani; samo kajkavski i čakavski su izvono hrvatski jezici, a štokavski ako me dobro poviest služi, jest izvono srbski jezik.
Tako draga gospodo, kad je već standardni hrvatski jezik, ionako srbophon i hrvati ga smatraju svojim, čak do te idiotske mjere da hrvatske jezike, kajkavski i čakavski smatraju vulgarnim i nazadnim (govorom običnog puka i seljaštva) što je u biti smiešno jer linguistički gledano znatno su chromatičniji i rječno bogatiji od štokavskog sa puno širom i poviesno gledano bitnijom ulogom: što nam onda treba da brišemo članke koji su na srbskom, bosanskom, pa po novom i na crnogorskom jeziku, kada su to jedan te isti jezik, koji se razlikuju gotovo u ničemu.

The default position of the "edit" link in page section headers is going to change soon. The "edit" link will be positioned adjacent to the page header text rather than floating opposite it.
Section edit links will be to the immediate right of section titles, instead of on the far right. If you're an editor of one of the wikis which already implemented this change, nothing will substantially change for you; however, scripts and gadgets depending on the previous implementation of section edit links will have to be adjusted to continue working; however, nothing else should break even if they are not updated in time.

Ideas to do this all the way to 2009 at least. It is often difficult to track which of several potential section edit links on the far right is associated with the correct section, and many readers and anonymous or new editors may even be failing to notice section edit links at all, since they read section titles, which are far away from the links.

The Wikimedia Foundation's editor engagement team developed this tool (code-named 'Echo') earlier this year, to help users contribute more productively to MediaWiki projects.
We're now getting ready to bring Notifications to almost all other Wikimedia sites, and are aiming for a 22 October deployment, as outlined in

This community consultation was commenced on September 24. The following day, two individuals filed a legal opposition against the registration of the Community logo.
The question is whether the Wikimedia Foundation should seek a collective membership mark with respect to this logo or abandon its registration and protection of the trademark.
We want to make sure that everyone get a chance to speak up so that we can get clear direction from the community. We would therefore really appreciate the community's help in translating this announcement from English so that everyone is able to understand it.

, a new program from the Wikimedia Foundation that lets you try out new features before they are released for everyone.
Think of it as a digital laboratory where community members can preview upcoming software and give feedback to help improve them. This special preference page lets designers and engineers experiment with new features on a broad scale, but in a way that's not disruptive.
Beta Features is now ready for testing on
MediaWiki.org
. It will also be released on Wikimedia Commons and MetaWiki this Thursday, 7 November. Based on test results, the plan is to release it on all wikis worldwide on 21 November, 2013.

I am Wikidata's product manager. If you are unfamilar with Wikidata please have a look at

for example.
As you might already have heard Wikisource will be the fourth project supported by Wikidata after Wikipedia, Wikivoyage and Commons. We are currently planning this for January 14th. From this point on you will be able to handle the links between projects in Wikidata. This means you will only have to maintain them once instead of having them duplicated in every article. However fear not: the local interwiki links will still continue to work and they will overwrite what comes from Wikidata.
This is the first step of Wikidata supporting Wikisource. In a second step we will enable access to the actual data on Wikidata like biographical data about authors. I do not have a date for that yet however.

. We are still looking for some more ambassadors who can help during the process and make sure everything goes smoothly for you. Please add your name to the list at

Hey everyone :)
As previously announced we have just enabled interwiki links via Wikidata for Wikisource. This means from now on you no longer have to maintain the links in the Wikitext but can maintain them together with the links for Wikipedia, Commons and Wikivoyage on Wikidata. You will still be able to keep them locally though if you want to. Local interwiki links will overwrite the ones from Wikidata.
You do not yet have access to the other data on Wikidata like the date of birth of an author. That will come in a future deployment. I will let you know when I have a date for it.

seeks community guidance on a proposal to support the
MP4 video format
. This digital video standard is used widely around the world to record, edit and watch videos on mobile phones, desktop computers and home video devices. It is also known as
H.264/MPEG-4 or AVC
Supporting the MP4 format would make it much easier for our users to view and contribute video on Wikipedia and Wikimedia projects -- and video files could be offered in dual formats on our sites, so we could continue to support current open formats (WebM and Ogg Theora).
However, MP4 is a patent-encumbered format, and using a proprietary format would be a departure from our current practice of only supporting open formats on our sites -- even though the licenses appear to have acceptable legal terms, with only a small fee required.
We would appreciate your guidance on whether or not to support MP4. Our Request for Comments presents views both in favor and against MP4 support, based on opinions we’ve heard in our discussions with community and team members.

Not long ago we enabled language links via Wikidata for Wikisource. This seems to have gone rather smoothly. Thanks to everyone who helped! But as you know this was only the start. What is actually more interesting is access to the data in Wikidata like the date of birth of an author or the year a book was published. We have planned this for February 25th (unless any issues arise). You will then be able to use the data in your articles. I hope this will open up a lot of new opportunities for you.

On January 21 2014 the MediaWiki extension
Universal Language Selector
(ULS) was
disabled
on this wiki. A new preference was added for logged-in users to turn on ULS. This was done to prevent slow loading of pages due to ULS webfonts, a behaviour that had been observed by the Wikimedia Technical Operations team on some wikis.
We are now ready to enable ULS again. The temporary preference to enable ULS will be removed. A
new checkbox
has been added to the Language Panel to enable/disable font delivery. This will be unchecked by default for this wiki, but can be selected at any time by the users to enable webfonts. This is an interim solution while we improve the feature of webfonts delivery.

You can do this in two ways. The first one is a parser function. You can use it like {{#property:capital}} or {{#property:P36}}. The second one is Lua. The documentation for that is at

Hello. A new policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, etc) was recently adopted by
global community consensus
(your community received a notice about the discussion). According to this policy, the
stewards
are reviewing administrators' activity on smaller wikis. To the best of our knowledge, your wiki does not have a formal process for removing "advanced rights" from inactive accounts. This means that the stewards will take care of this according to the new
admin activity review
here.
We have determined that the following users meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no log actions for more than 2 years):

When using data from Wikidata on Wikipedia and other sister projects, there is currently a limitation in place that hinders some use cases: data can only be accessed from the corresponding item. So, for example, the Wikipedia article about Berlin can only get data from the Wikidata item about Berlin but not from the item about Germany. This had technical reasons. We are now removing this limitation. It is already done for French Wikisource and Dutch Wikipedia. Your project is one of the next ones:
18. May: Farsi Wikipedia, English Wikivoyage, Hebrew Wikipedia
1. June: Italian Wikipedia, all remaining Wikisource
We hope to have it rolled out nearly everywhere by the end of June 2015.

Hi. I can see that this project has old JavaScript that needs to be updated. I would happily make the required updates myself, but I would have to – at least temporarily – become an admin here to do that (because the relevant pages are in the MediaWiki namespace). I have already made these updates on a number of other projects, so it would be very easy for me to do this. If no one does anything, some JavaScript-related tools will break later this year. If you want me to make these updates, you can grant me admin rights and I will make the updates as soon as I can.

on one of the items on the 2015 community wishlist, namely
enabling searching the archive of deleted pages
. This feature is now ready for production deployment, and will be enabled on all wikis, except Wikidata.
Right now, the feature is behind a feature flag - to use it on your wiki, please go to the
Special:Undelete
page, and add
&fuzzy=1
to the URL, like this:
. Then search for the pages you're interested in. There should be more results than before, due to using ElasticSearch indexing (via the CirrusSearch extension).
We plan to enable this improved search by default on all wikis soon (around August 1, 2017). If you have any objections to this - please raise them with the Discovery team via

or on this announcement's discussion page. Like most Mediawiki configuration parameters, the functionality can be configured per wiki.
Once the improved search becomes the default, you can still access the old mode using
&fuzzy=0

The ProofreadPage extension can now join together a word that is split between a page and the next.
In the past, when a page was ending with
"concat-"
and the next page was beginning with
"enation"
, the resulting transclusion would have been
"concat- enation"
, and a special template like
d:Q15630535
had to be used to obtain the word
"concatenation"
Now the default behavior has changed: the hyphen at the end of a page is suppressed and in this case no space is inserted, so the result of the transclusion will be:
"concatenation"
, without the need of a template. The "joiner" character is defined by default as "-" (the regular hyphen), but it is possible to change this. A template may still be needed to deal with particular cases when the hyphen needs to be preserved.

(formerly "Wikimedia Conference").
The Wikimedia Summit is a yearly conference of all organizations affiliated to the Wikimedia Movement (including our Wikisource Community User Group). It is a great place to talk about Wikisource needs to the chapters and other user groups that compose the Wikimedia movement.
For context, there is a

The deadline is short and to avoid the confusing vote on the Wikisource-I mailing list of last year, we created a
page on meta to decide who will be the representative of the user group to the Wikimedia Summit
The vote will be in two parts:
until December 7th, people can add their name and a short explanation on who they are and why they want to go to the summit. Nomination of other people is allowed, the nominated person should accept their nomination.

Meeting the Wikisource community expectations, we are working with Wikimedia Polska and Wikimedia Foundation on organiziing the 2nd Wikisource Conference in Warsaw. We already had a survey that showed high interest in the Conference within the community. We also had recently a meeting on the conference organization process and its requirements. However, we are still at a very early stage of the Conference organization process. But we are hoping this event will happen in September this year.
In order to apply for Wikimedia Foundation support, we need some input from the community about the Conference goals and the community expectations. If you are a wikisourcian, you wish to participate the conference or you wish to help the Wikisource community that the conference take place, please fill the short survey linked below before January 29 (due to short deadline for grant applications). Now that we have posted the August update, we want to know what you think. The update includes findings from our community consultation, results from two separate analyses conducted by the team (on improving WSExport reliability & font rendering support), and proposed next steps. It is our hope that people can read our analysis, share their feedback, and engage in a conversation with us on the talk page. Your feedback will be invaluable, and it will help determine the next steps of the project.

Da bi osigurali da je sve ispravno i radi, tehnički odjel Wikimedije provodi planirani test. Taj će test pokazati je li moguć naizmjenični rad ovih podatkovnih centara. Potreban je rad više ekipa ljudi za testiranje i otklanjanje nepredviđenih problema.
Sav će promet biti preusmjeren na sekundarni podatkovni centar u
utorak, 1. rujna 2020. godine.
Nažalost, uslijed ograničenja u
softveru MediaWiki
, nije moguće uređivanje tijekom ove zamjene. Ispričavamo se na smetnji, radimo na tome da sljedeći put zamjena bude brža.

Ne ćete biti u mogućnosti uređivati do najviše sat vremena u utorak, 1. rujna 2020. godine. Test počinje u 14:00 UTC/KSV (tj. u 16 sati po srednjoeuropskom ljetnom vremenu (CEST/SEV)).
Ako pokušate uređivati, bit će Vam prikazana poruka o pogrješci. Nadamo se da Vaša uređivanja u to vrijeme ne će biti izgubljena, ali ne jamčimo to. Ako vidite poruku o pogrješci, molimo Vas, pričekajte dok sve ne proradi na uobičajen način. Tada ćete moći snimiti Vaše uređivanje. Ali, preporučujemo da napravite kopiju Vaših uređivanja, za svaki slučaj.
Drugi učinci:
Pozadinski poslovi mogu biti sporiji ili zaustavljeni. Crvene poveznice mogu ne biti ažurirane jednako brzo kao inače. Ako stvorite članak koji je povezan negdje drugdje, poveznica će ostati crvena dulje nego je uobičajeno. Skripte koje se dugo izvršavaju bit će zaustavljene.

Wikisource Pagelist Widget: Wikisource Meetup (29th September 2020)

Hello everyone,
We hope you are doing well!
We reached out to you a couple of weeks ago to share that
Wikisource Pagelist Widget
is now ready to be enabled to Wikisource. Since then, many language Wikisources have enabled the widget but many are yet to do so.
So, we have decided to organize a Wikisource Meetup to give a live demonstration on how to use the widget in both wikitext and visual modes. There will be some time for the participants to share their feedback and experience with the widget. We will also provide support in case some Wikisource communities are seeking help in enabling the widget.

I apologize for posting in English. I would like to inform everyone that I created a new global request for comment (GRFC) at Meta Wiki, which may affect your project:
m:Requests for comment/Set short project namespace aliases by default globally
In this GRFC, I propose that two-project shortcuts for project names will become a default alias for the project namespace. For instance, on all Wikipedias, WP will be an alias to the Wikipedia: namespace (and similar for other projects). Full list is available in the GRFC.
This is already the case for Wikivoyages, and many individual projects asked for this alias to be implemented. I believe this makes it easier to access the materials in the project namespace, as well as creating shortcuts like
WP:NPOV
, as well as helps new projects to use this feature, without having to figure out how to request site configuration changes first.
As far as I can see, Wikizvor currently does not have such an alias set. This means that such an alias will be set for you, if the GRFC is accepted by the global community.

za službenu komunikaciju unutar projekata, inicijativa, tematskih i drugih zajednica na svom serveru, te ih smatra službenim kanalima komunikacije koji zadovoljavaju standarde oko transparentnosti, otvorenosti i pristupačnosti. Rado bi da se uspostaviti i prvi takav kanal službene komunikacije za Wikimedija projekte na hrvtaskom jeziku čim prije, kako bi se razina organizacije i preglednosti informacija podigla, te proširila na krug ljudi koji ne provode vrijeme ovdje i na teme koje su aktualne kroz duže pariode od par dana unutar jednog mjeseca.

Wikisource Triage meetings
, starting from 21st March 2022.
These meetings aim to foster the growth of a technical community of Wikisource developers and contributors. The meetings will be primarily focused on identifying, prioritizing and estimating tasks on the All-and-every-Wikisource and ProofreadPage workboards (among others) on Phabricator and eventually reduce the backlog of technical tasks and bugs related to Wikisource by making incremental improvements to Wikisource infrastructure and coordinating these changes with the Wikisource communities.
While these meetings are technology focused, non-technical Wikisource contributors are also invited to join and share any technical challenges that they are facing and we will help them to create phabricator tickets. Newbie developers are also more than welcome!
The first meeting has been scheduled for 21st March 2022 at 10:30 AM UTC / 4:00 PM IST (

Pravila
koja određuju uklanjanje »naprednih prava« (administrator, birokrat, administrator sučelja itd.) donesena su
konsenzusom globalne zajednice
2013. godine.
U skladu s tim pravilima,
stjuardi
nadgledaju aktivnosti administratora na svim wikijima Zaklade Wikimedija koji nemaju pravila o neaktivnosti. Koliko nam je poznato, na vašem wikiju ne postoji formalni proces skidanja »naprednih prava« neaktivnim suradnicima. To znači da će se stjuardi pobrinuti za to u skladu s
pregledom administratorskih aktivnosti
Ustanovili smo da sljedeći suradnici udovoljavaju kriterijima neaktivnosti (bez uređivanja i bez radnji zapisanih u evidencijama tijekom 2 ili više godina):
Ex13 (birokrat, administrator)
Ovi će suradnici uskoro biti obaviješteni sa zamolbom da pokrenu raspravu zajednice, ako žele zadržati neka ili sva prava. Ako pojedini suradnici ne odgovore, stjuardi će ukloniti njihova prava.
Ako zajednica želi donijeti vlastita pravila o neaktivnosti koja bi bila iznad globalnih, ili želi donijeti odluku o ovim neaktivnim nositeljima prava, ili već postoje pravila koja su nam promakla, molimo obavijestite
stjuarde na Meta-Wikiju

Hello,
We are a team working on biblical texts in various languages, we have a
module
that seems to be the bible of archbishop saric. However, our text is completely different from what is presented on your wikisource. If I understand correctly there are different translations, which one is finally on wikisource? Do you have any information on the source of the wikisource text? Do you have facsimiles or a paper edition nearby?
