Winton Woods Community Parent Teacher Association (PTA) - Winton Woods City School District
Winton Woods Community Parent & Teacher Association
Welcome Parents, Grandparents, Guardians, Teachers, Staff, and Friends!
We encourage you to help us enrich the educational experience of our students by joining the PTA. As a PTA member you have input into important decisions like how PTA money is spent, which activities are sponsored, and input in planning for the future.
Why join the PTA?
Our PTA is very active in sponsoring and implementing many programs that enrich the school experience for our children.
Your membership adds to the numbers that support state and national PTA lobbying efforts with the goal of improving education for all.
PTA provides opportunities to meet and network with other parents, teachers, and school administrators.
As a PTA volunteer you can use your skills and hobbies for a relevant cause while setting a good example for your child and all children in the community.
What is PTA Membership?
Membership means paying an annual fee of $10 per person to be counted as a PTA member. With that membership you receive a membership card that also enables you to receive PTA discounts.
What do I have to do as a member?
We encourage parent and community involvement, however, becoming a member of PTA does NOT mean that you must commit to volunteer hours or attend every meeting – we respect that you do only what you can, when you can. We welcome you and your support!
Can I attend meetings and PTA functions or volunteer if I am not a member?
Everyone is welcome at meetings and events or to help out. However, you are required to be a member to vote on budgetary issues at the meetings and to serve on our executive board.
How do I join the PTA?
Joining our PTA is easy! All you have to do is complete this membership form and pay your dues. You can send your membership application and your dues payment to your child’s teacher in an envelope marked “PTA Membership" or you may turn in the form at any of our PTA General Meetings. In addition, you can
pay your dues online
If paying by check, please make it out to “Winton Woods Community PTA.”
Your PTA card will be emailed to you directly.
