Go to
utah.zoom.us
and select the
button.
Sign in to the
single sign on (SSO) page
with your
uNID,
university password, and Duo 2FA.
Once you log in, you will be brought to your
Zoom profile page
. Your Zoom account is now set up and you can start scheduling meetings.
Visit this DLT Knowledge Base article
for more detailed instructions.
You must be logged into Zoom as a host before you can record the meeting on your computer
or save it to the Zoom cloud. All Zoom recordings that are saved to the cloud are
automatically copied to the host’s My Media (Kaltura) account in Canvas/Mediaspace.

Sometimes, users may receive a
“Something went wrong while you tried signing in with SSO”
error when logging in to Zoom. This can happen for a number of reasons, but most
often it is related to the status of the user in the university's main HR database.
This happens most frequently for users who are new staff/students or users who recently
had a change in their status.
If you receive this error, try clearing your browser cache and cookies (here are some
instructions for clearing browser cache and cookies for
Chrome
and
Firefox,
respectively) and logging in again. You may also want to try logging in using an
Incognito Window in Chrome
. If you still get an error after performing these actions, please create a ticket
with DLT by emailing a description of the problem and your uNID to
classhelp@utah.edu
